Gonzales Banner Flag Size:2' x 3' H/G one of the first patrioticThe Battle of Gonzales, the first battle of the Texas Revolution, was between a small group of Texans and the Mexican forces. The Mexican government demanded the Texans to return the cannon that was given to them four years earlier to defend the colony of Gonzales. When the Texans didn't comply, the Mexican forces had orders to seize the cannon. The Texans created a flag with the popular slogan "come and take it" (in Spanish) along with a black star
